Nice little tool bag

This bag is ideal for storing essential tools for minor repairs and maintenance. Big enough for a 10 inch pipe wrench, channel lockout pliers, screwdriver set, crescent wrenches, pliers, tape measure, rolls of electrical and Teflon tape, a flashlight and just about anything else you might need. The brass zipper is durable, as are the sewn-on canvas handles. Very happy with the purchase.

Better than Mil-Spec in some ways

First, I owned a surplus military tool bag for many years until it broke. Unable to find another for sale I bought this commercial bag believing I would have to settle for lower quality. Of course, when it arrived I immediately noticed that it was made of a thinner material than the original GI version. On the other hand, it generally looks better and the material it's made of, while not as thick, is of high quality. And it still has a solid bottom and a brass zipper! I have no problem living…

Good for occasional use

I work as a mobile locksmith. I'm working on a golf cart with an aluminum box on the back. All of my tools are in hard-bottomed Airaj bags, except for taps, chain breakers, and broken bolt pullers. This bag was purchased to replace my old canvas bag which contains these tools. Although I've been looking for an identical replacement for weeks, I bought this bag to use instead. Suitable for light service. If you want something truly durable and suitable for everyday use as your only tool bag…

Perfect for your most used tools

Better than expected. I just had to make some changes to "make it personal". The perfect bag for the tools I use most. I've added suede trim to the handles (pictured) and used copper rivets for a nice touch and a more comfortable grip. A zippered leather tongue (photo) makes it easier to grab the load. The zipper has been treated with WD-40 silicone spray to keep it smooth and prevent corrosion. I cut off the middle seam of both side parts, now you can put screwdrivers there (photo). Cut out a…

Looks Pretty Good: Tool Organizer

I have to update this review after using it for a while. My first impression is that for the price this is a really good tool bag. I have a similar old canvas tool bag that I bought at a thrift store ten years ago and it was great. But the lightning eventually went out and it started to tear. I'm not sure if my old bag is really military or not. In comparison, this new bag is softer, thinner and the zipper is much less durable than my old bag. But I really like it, and it has more pockets for…

Wow Surprised by the quality

Man what a purchase. This bag is made of thick army canvas. It has a strong metal zipper and is smooth as butter. All seams are tight, even and very well finished. A stiffening element is built into the bottom of the bag. Inside there are two compartments for bags on one side and four small compartments on the other side. Each exterior is fitted with heavy duty military grade snap pockets. Each is split down the middle with two pockets on each side. The handles are shoulder straps and well…

Very heavy bag. Great to wear.

I use it to store a small NUX guitar amp and chords. While this little amp is really good, there are no cases for it. So I took some measurements and found that this bag was the right size for me. It was delivered very quickly (3 days) and when it arrived I didn't realize how many storage pockets there are inside and outside. The outer pockets (two on each side) close with two flaps on the buttons, they can store picks, extra strings, batteries, pedal cords, etc. The two inside pockets I use…

Great hobby bag for my daughters after Christmas.

My daughter came to borrow my little vise to hold the rectangular pieces of wood she was burning, funny words of wisdom, sort of a Christmas present. Then she needed needle nose pliers, a magnifying glass, scissors, a hammer, a punch, tweezers and a light to see what she was doing. So besides this amazing looking 11x7x6 olive canvas bag I also bought 2 different bench vises and will put them in the bag to hold one of your projects respectively a hammer, small pliers, set of numbers and letters…

Cons
  • Only available in black

Received a little over a week after ordering, but I decided to ship my order with as few deliveries as possible so I could probably receive it sooner if I wanted. This is advertised. Smaller than I expected but these are the dimensions described. The handles appear to be well attached, the bottom is well reinforced so it will be a test of time. Don't use them very roughly, but they'll spend quite a bit of time outdoors, so we'll see how well they stand up to UV and humidity. I have rain covers…
