Great product, fits incense sticks and incense holder

Decades have passed since I had a really nice Día de Muertos setting at home. And the wonderful smell of copal just completed my offering table. As I sat there for a while and remembered my loved ones who had passed away. If you want to keep traditions alive, you need to get this product.

Pros
  • Nice view
Cons
  • Some little things

ideal for paint manufacturers and very clean, low dirt and volatiles.

I use this copal which is a reproduction violin/furniture lacquer from the 1780's together with damar and pine rosin. The best Copal I have ever used for polishing. high hardness and scratch resistance with high gloss at the same time, although my polish was treated with 5% beeswax. great fabric!

Pros
  • understandable even for the old
Cons
  • nothing here

Smells awful (to me)

Not sure if this is a finished product (incense) or a product used to make incense. It seems popular but smells awful to me. I expected a better scent. If you know it's the right scent for you, it could be the one for you. If you are looking for something that smells more like flowers or sandalwood or some other scent, or what the orthodox or catholic churches use, visit their incense websites, this is not the scent for you. It arrived quickly, it burns well. It was a large quantity and it was…

Another excellent Govinda resin. Sweet Copal

Another great Govinda resin. This is the only brand of resin I look for more and I burn resin every day. The sizes of the resin pieces vary. Some of them are so big that they quickly melt (turn into a thick syrup) and flood your charcoal disc. In this case I just light the second disc of coal and put the soaked one on top as soon as it lights. I pick up the big pieces and put them aside. I don't mind taking a hammer for big chunks. I suppose you can use a coffee/herb grinder as well, but…

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of fashion

I liked that the product was double boxed and shipped free of foreign material. It burns clean and smells clean. A small piece (about the width of a small fingernail) is enough to create a cloud of white smoke. I just crushed a large chunk with one blow of a soft mallet. Just make sure you put it between the cling film as it will shatter on impact. It turns into a liquid so a large chunk will wipe out your coal slice or escape and go to waste. It has a clean and purifying scent that I love…

Pros
  • quick change

The only true! Suitable for incense sticks and incense holders

Great! Ignore anyone who complains. I don't know what unrealistic expectations they had, but for anyone who actually works with incense resin and knows what they are looking for, these resins are 100% true, they smell amazing and come in huge chunks (they should come). If you burn tar regularly and have little common sense, you should already have a mortar and pestle. Also, you already know that resins produce much more smoke than incense sticks or incense cones. If these two facts don't suit…

The real thing: Gum dammar from India or Southeast Asia

First, please note that just like incense, there is confusion because words have different meanings in different places. If you order copal online from a source in South or Central America, you will most likely get turpentine or something similar. This is partly because the word copal is synonymous with incense in this part of the world. In my case, I came across "copal" in a specialty shop a few years ago and immediately fell in love with this fragrance. I ordered some things that looked the…
