Best handheld airless gun for the money

Sprays the thickest latex paint easily and evenly. You MUST ALWAYS pass the paint before spraying or you will get spatter and drips. You cannot skip this step. You can't afford to spoil your paint project with drips or splatters. Cleaning TAKES TIME to properly clean the gun so it will work properly the next time you use it. I sprayed a very thick paint on the kitchen cabinet doors on the lowest setting because it adds volume when needed. Be prepared to refill frequently if you are spraying a…

Excellent customer service and very high quality product.

Don't take a cheap gun! This gun is cute, but the customer service is even cuter. The color settles evenly, the color is easy to work with. A coat is all you need. We spray-painted this gun all over the inside of our home over the course of a few weekends. Wouldn't recommend anything more. Graco hasn't skimped on quality either. I've been working the gun pretty hard and it's gone from me. I thought the internal thermal fuse had blown but the gun is smart enough to have a thermal cut off and…

Great sprayer! on airbrushes

Beautiful airbrush. I have a Wagner Flexio 570 with a couple of guns that I bought specifically for backup and color replacement. This Graco blows the Wagner out of the water, it's much faster and can provide much more consistent coverage in a fraction of the time. I sprayed a 10' x 12' ship hull in less than 5 minutes. It has far less overspray than the Wagner and is far easier to clean. I tried a cheaper version of this that didn't have variable control and even at low temp it spat out more…

Golden tool for skillful people.

This little monster is amazing! The controls are simple and intuitive. Only downside is the weight, it can get annoying after 15 minutes but that's not bad at all considering you can do something in 15 minutes that would take an hour by hand. Loading and priming isn't difficult, but it requires very little paint and the opacity depends on the quality of your paint. I have used Zinsser Oil Primer and behr ulta latex with amazing results. Cleaning is cumbersome, but worth every minute invested…

Good when it works but difficult to apply color

I've spent a lot of time on the Graco website watching tutorials. I made money and I was very happy. But then I had to fill in the color and realized the design flaw of this device. The lower part of the ink holder is removed for refilling, but it is very difficult to remove this part without unscrewing the upper part of the ink holder. And if the top of the paint holder is unscrewed at this point, a lot of paint will flow through the top's threads and you won't get a good seal and air will…

Forget cans of paint. That's a beast.

I will never use spray paint again. I built a cart on wheels for my outdoor oven. I wanted to spray paint it a nice bluish gray but found I'd used up about six cans of paint and the car looked terrible with uneven spray of paint. She. (This girl isn't as young as she used to be.) I've been following the blog of a woman who also built a pizza oven and cart, and she's touting those squirt guns as a godsend. So I went broke and bought one. All I can say is that with regular paint cans it took me…

Deeply disappointed

Bought to paint my entire house. Could have, and should have, spent less money on another Graco sprayer that draws straight from paint cans/buckets. The block is very heavy when full, empties quickly, takes a long time to refill. Months after work, my "trigger" still hurts every morning because I have to pull the trigger hundreds of times. The device often developed spots in the center of the atomizer that required manual twisting/brushing to remove, spoiling the purpose of using the atomizer…

A professional sprayer that delivers great results in a small package.

I'm not a house painter, I'm a contractor who is forced to paint things against my will from time to time, always with poor results. I recently had to paint my toilet system and bought this sprayer for the job. How important is a professional tool! It took me a few days to get the technique down, but when I was done I had a nice, smooth finish with no brush marks, streaks, streaks, or light spots. Pros: 1) Variable speed - this is important because I found that for the color I used for the…

What a mess painting baseboards and door upholstery

Since using this I've read reviews on here that I should have read before buying. This machine is well marketed by Graco. I believed in their products and years of experience. It was interesting to see 2 or 3 stars for a work that the reviewers obviously didn't like. So good. Love the idea of a foldable bag and the ability to not have to clean everything immediately after use for use later in the day. Poorly. This is a terrible sprayer. Both spray tips are .015" in diameter, which is all Graco…
