The thing does not withstand any pressure

What a piece of paper waste. I don't think there is a full thread on this. What's wrong with the manufacturer's engineers building such a piece of junk. For the first one, I used striped threads on me.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Nothing

Pretty awkward fit for power tools and hand tools

Good idea but the inner square piece that pushes in to clamp turns oddly, doesn't hold properly and the screws are a bit loose in the threads. They worked for what I wanted, just had to play around with them to get them to align very well.

Pros
  • Durable test results
Cons
  • Blank

Enough for about 1-2 times

Seems to be exactly what you need, but after a few pulls the threads tear and you don't press anything anymore. after just a few uses. Also, the tightening handle isn't very convenient. You need something to pinch it to really tighten it or you'll just scratch your finger.

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • Has disadvantages

absolutely terrible, does not hold enough pressure in the thinnest PVC pipe

This product is the reason you always, ALWAYS need to read reviews. Absolute lowest quality. I can't think of any use for him. On top of that I only got 8 clips instead of 12, but in the end it doesn't matter how many useless clips were in the bag. Non-refundable, beware!

Pros
  • Test for one year
Cons
  • Negative impression

Poorly made and awkward to use

The overall build quality of these clamps is pretty poor. The movable legs periodically tip and get stuck - usually multiple times as the clamp is tightened over light-weight surgical tubing. This makes them quite difficult to clamp completely. Worse, because the yoke is binding and not moving, it often looks like it's compressing the pipe completely to create a seal, but it's really just the yoke itself that's binding. This caused several leaks when I was using them. I won't buy them again.

Pros
  • Open design
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

It works but is not ergonomic and very awkward to adjust for two reasons. Small knurled screw. The part that compresses the tube is smooth and rounded, so the tube won't stay in place when the screw is compressed. I highly recommend the following clamp, just bought one to try - expensive but fantastic and very easy to control flow up to dripping at the rate of one drop every few seconds etc! Grafco Hoffman Flex Tubing Screw Compressor Clamp, Open Style, 1 x 7/8", 3083DZ (pack of 12) I've tried…

Pros
  • Large thumbscrew provides grip when tightening the clamp
Cons
  • I'll add later

Be careful when buying this product

At first I wasn't very happy with the product because it didn't do its job very well . / made cheap. It doesn't quite work for me because it's too cheaply made and the part that pushes down tends to move when the screw is tightened, making it difficult for me to adjust the flow when it's not up positioned a certain way. As a result, I believe I have given a 2 star rating based on my own experience/unsatisfactory performance of the product. However, this is now a 1 star rating based on my…

Pros
  • 1/2 x 1/2 inch fits pipe up to 3/8 inch
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others
