Better than I expected

I bought this for tomato sauce. That helped. You should play with it a little. If the tomatoes just slide, turn them the other way, and then the right way, but move faster than before. My only complaint is the placement of the hooks, which seems to be a big problem with many modern food grinders. The hooks must be at the bottom, otherwise the grinder will sit too deep in the pot. I made a small batch, then poured the contents of that pot into a larger pot and then started the process over. This

I received the food grinder yesterday. It came with instructions and looked in good condition. I fitted a fine hole grinding disc into the grinder body and when I turned the handle the disc on the handle rubbed so hard on the grinder body that I could not turn the handle a full revolution. . The blade needed some adjustment but works great!

Works great - after a small adjustment of blade pitch. On the first try, prior to use with food, the pressure blade scratched the sieve disc, making turning very difficult and allowing metal shavings. It must not touch the pane. Instead of sending it back, I disassembled it, got a pair of pliers, and bent the blade slightly, reducing the angle of attack by about a millimeter (1/16 inch).
