📦 Mulberry Paper Scrap Pack by Black Ink Papers: A Vibrant Assortment for Beautiful Graphic Projects (SP-100) Review

I ordered 2 packs of this mulberry paper. The first bag was ok, but the second bag was stuffed with scraps of cardboard that were definitely not mulberry paper. The first bag had some questionable leftovers, but the second bag was 30% unusable. Be careful buyers.

Very good selection, random colors, ALMOST solid, at least in my packaging. Most mulberry specimens are a decent thickness, some are thinner - great for decoupage! These are small patterns perfect for die cutting, collage, art journals, etc. I used Matte Medium.

I make postcards and this mulberry paper, although square and rectangular, is of excellent quality! Lots of paper too! I will reorder this paper from this supplier without question. It wasn't just plain colors, but sophisticated designs and interesting textures that added quality to my postcards. I love them, so juicy!

If you're looking for some fun designs for your project, don't worry. Although the paper is good quality, what came in my bag was a complete disappointment - lots of the same plain papers in very odd colors (olive, mustard) - just a few printed pieces and they were all the same. Basically I received a lot of scraps of paper in 4 colors and only a few sheets of a print. Very disappointing.

I love these papers. I ordered two bags. The largest might be 3 inches by 2 inches, but I knew that. No problem. Some papers are thicker than others. I use them for mixed media projects so everything is fine. Very happy. I love mulberry paper. I can also run it through the sewing machine and it holds up well. The only disappointment was that the ones in the photo weren't in my bag. I loved this blue and green floral design. But. never mind. This is a garbage bag. I get what I get and don't fit…

Lots of little pieces of paper, which is fine since I use them to make washi tape. I would give them 5 stars if they gave less plain, darker, thicker, rougher paper (almost half my paper was filler, which is too ugly to use on any project). Lighter weight paper and bright colors or patterns are lots of fun and good for collages and great for making your own ribbon. I bought 2 packs and both had the same ratio of ugly unusable paper. I love the variety and amount of paper in this packaging! There are tons of different textures and thicknesses, as well as multiple stacks of the same paper. As a collagist/mixed media artist, I find this combination almost perfect. I have already bought 3 of these and will definitely be back! The image shows printed/patterned paper, but the vast majority of the paper I have received is blank. Maybe 5-10% have a design. There is paper where the nature of the paper itself is some kind of pattern

This paper is very interesting for use in art journals and collages. For those unfamiliar, the paper I received came in three different textures: smooth, medium-weight paper in various colors; there were rough, highly absorbent, and translucent thin papers; and there were uneven papers of varying thickness. The translucent ones are my favorites as many of them have built in materials that make them interesting and beautiful. I didn't count but I probably received around 15-20 different papers…
