Works as described. I used it for ginger and garlic. Easy to use and clean. I also like that it's larger than most other options.

Heavy part so doesn't move when in use. There are spouts for draining juice. Comes with a ginger transfer spoon and a brush to remove all of the ginger from the surface of the grater.

I love it! It is easy to use and clean. This grinds ginger for tea very quickly. The little brush that comes with the kit is very helpful for picking up all of the ginger, and the scoop makes it easy to transfer it from the grater to my mug.

I used to grate ginger with a lemon grater but it always stuck to the back of the grater. I saw something similar on a cooking show and decided to give it a try. It works amazing. It comes with a handy brush to remove the ginger from the plate and also collects the juice so it can be used in dishes. I highly recommend it.

I had one like this a long time ago and was looking for a replacement. I've grated shallots, lots of garlic, and more ginger than I can remember. The small spoon is fragile, so handle it carefully. The small brush ensures that you don't lose what you've rubbed. Wonderful and easy to clean. It also doesn't retain the smell of garlic.

The piece is good and works very well overall... however two things we would like to recommend: 1. It could have had a more substantial 'handle' (a bit longer) to to have a better grip and it would be nice if they could design the underside of the base to hold storage attachments when not in use. Otherwise it does its job well!

Okay. I'm a gadget fanatic. A few years ago I bought a metal grater from Japan. It was viciously sharp, but it was blood stripping ginger threads from it.
