Good light but too bright

I just received and installed these lamps. Correction, I installed most of them and then uninstalled them again. I have a 3 light fixture in the dining room and figured 3 soft white 40's should do the trick. I knew I wanted 3K but I have to say these bulbs are far from 40 watts. They are super bright. The color is excellent, not as soft as I would like but much brighter than I expected. I only use 1 bulb in a 3 bulb fixture and that's still too much. If I had to guess, I'd say they're more like

WELL-MADE LED BULBS

Eagle bulbs were well packaged in a sturdy, high quality box. Judging by the design and quality of the box, this is a well thought out product. The bulb itself feels solid and emits a very pleasant warm light. The metal base that you screw into the mount is well made and screws on easily. I've had expensive, well-known brand lightbulbs with a horrible metal base that are difficult to install and even more difficult to remove. After hours of use, the bulbs are just warm to the touch and I'm sure

3000,000 - Winner!

I've ordered 2700k, 3000k and 4000k just to compare and see what we *really* like best for our living room. 3000,000 wins. We thought we'd need 4000k but it ended up being just low light - we're not comfortable relaxing. 2700k is the way to yellow. So it's 3000k then. None of the 12 bulbs broke and all worked. 1 of 2700k had a hum. This is a smaller bulb so it fits in most fixtures. Let's assume they can be used down to -4°F. They also specifically state that use in enclosed or sealed fixtures…
