This product is technically functional. There are some things that are not very good and some that are good. As a direct copy or clone of a real Dyson machine, you can see and feel the difference in quality. The teeth of the hair brush are very thin and sharp. They bend very easily and feel weak. Their points are sharp as needles. I had to inspect each tine and cut off the tips which were too sharp due to the way they were cut at the factory, some at an angle. We have two cats. One really likes this tool and doesn't mind if I forget the vacuum and turn it on while combing it (in fact, you don't have to turn it on until you're ready to suck up the hairs it picks up); the other prevents me from touching it with the brush even when the vacuum is off. This vacuum cleaner is very comfortable to use. We (my dog and I) made a game out of it. They're called German Scheders for a reason, so this is a common game. I've learned not to press too hard when vacuuming because I think the flimsy wire can irritate her. Instead, I use repetition. Every aspect of this grooming tool works perfectly. Love it! We have a white German Shepherd who hates the $70 Furminator we bought for him. It always hurts to comb it.
