a terrible toxic smell came out of the tray

The first time washing with hot water, a horrible toxic smell came out of the tray. washed 6 times. the smell stayed. I cooked in it, washed it again. the smell stayed. I couldn't contact the support team (GreenPan) last week. Very disappointed. I have pans (of different finishes) and they seem to be very good with no smell. But they smell like a chemical dump.

Disappointed for Kitchen & Dining

This is an update. I bought these pans 11 months ago. About 2 months ago I found that EVERYTHING WILL STICK in the skillet and two saucepans I bought. In the beginning they were great. They have no scratches, the finishes appear to be the same as the first purchase. Somehow everything sticks like glue. Even noodles. I can't even soak it. Now I have to find something else to replace it. Just a note. I would think twice about this product.

  • New to my collection

Best pot of my life

Best pot of my life. Just perfect. Even the handles are perfect: big, comfortable, durable and never get too hot. Just awesome. UPDATE: Unfortunately, scratches only appeared 4 months later, which, like with any other ceramic pot, have worn away the thin ceramic layer. I only use wooden utensils. Now maybe only the patina/gloss layer is scratched because the paint underneath is still grey. I'll update if it gets worse.

The pot is fine / Revane wasn't entirely honest.

Unless its condition is indicative of its quality, this review is of the Revain more than the pot. I recently ordered pans from this line and I really liked them. So I decided to try it with a big pot too. So I ordered this used item which is marked as 'like new' with no signs of dents or damage. It arrived and the box was fine, but the pot was warped on one side and the lid had a large dent. Both individually disappointing but no big deal other than the lid for this pot is now unusable as both

Paint issues on bakeware

I bought this about a year ago and decided to give an honest review after a year of use. The black paint on the outside of the pot peeled off within the first month of use. It left a powdery residue in my closet and on other pots stored nearby. Other than that it's been good so far. I have an 8 liter pot from their Chatham range which I bought around the same time as these. The enamel coating on the inside is quite scratched, but they say it's safe to use with metal utensils. I almost never use

Great pans for the kitchen and dining room

Today is the one year anniversary of the day I ordered this pan (and I have 2 other GreenPans). We use this at least 3 or 4 times a week and others maybe not as much but quite often. There are a few scratches on the outside of the pans but the insides all look and function the same as when new. make her like this We're not particularly careful with these pans other than not using metal utensils in them and hand washing them. And we don't use high heat unless they're filled with liquid. We cook…

No lids are a bigger problem than I expected

I knew there were no lids when I bought them thought I could find them how heavy is that? Pretty difficult as it turns out. The pans themselves are good, fairly easy to clean, lightweight yet fairly durable. I have no complaints about the pots themselves. But the lack of covers, well, wow. If I had to do it again I wouldn't buy it for that reason alone. I found a 7" cap for a larger one here at Revain: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00GD3366I/ref=twister_B00GD33672?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1. I have yet…

I love these pans! suitable for kitchen and dining room

I've been using this brand of pans for over 10 years, maybe even 15. I don't understand the bad reviews I've read at all. The packaging clearly states: Do not wash in the dishwasher! My original pans years ago said they were dishwasher safe. But only if the pans were greased with vegetable oil every time. I've never put mine in the dishwasher. Unless a small amount of vegetable oil or butter is poured into the pan, food may stick. It doesn't require very much. Don't use spray oil like "Pam" but

Like a lid without a pot

I imagine talking to my grandmother (who unfortunately is no longer with us but I was lucky enough to be with her for 37 years) and explaining to her that I spent 40 dollars on some pans, two pots to be exact and they don't have lids. Interestingly, this woman, who survived the Depression, World War II and all its rationing, raised four daughters without a husband after becoming a widow in 1950 at the age of 37. enough, but they're not that special that they're $40 and don't have a lid. I don't
