July 21 update: Give one more star and am now looking for replacements for the ones I have. Forcing them to stretch makes them difficult to remove and creates weakness that often tears when I try to lift heavier canned weights. The bags are durable and I haven't had any issues with tears or leaks. The downside that will put me off ordering again is that they are too small. Update: I'm back to place my third order for these bags. I solved the tearing problem by slightly stretching the top of the bag after unfolding but before opening. No more tearing, just a nice tight fit. We use them for mixed flow processing such as cans, bottles, paper, etc. We have never had any issues with leaks or tears due to the contents of the bags. Love the fact that these bags are made from recycled materials. When I bought them I realized that they probably wouldn't be as durable as other non-recycled bags I've used. I didn't find these bags durable. The drawstring rips the top of the bag about 50 percent of the time, and I often rip the bag open when trying to fit it over my standard 13-gallon kitchen trash cans. I love buying recycled plastic so it was easy. They didn't fit in my old trash can (13 gallons) so I had to buy a smaller one. But I'm very happy with the new one, so I'm not too sad. They fit perfectly with the new one which I think is 11 gallons not 13. I haven't had any flaws so far so I'm very happy with the quality in that regard.
