Huge - computers and accessories

My alter is pictured on the right with a 13.3 inch Dell Latitude compared to a 15 inch Dell XPS on the left. I should have checked the dimensions, but while the one on the right is the perfect size, this one is huge (and not the right shape for a modern laptop). This. If it were narrower at 12 inches but longer at 15 inches, it would be useful to rest a phone or a very narrow mouse pad. But modern laptops are widescreen and not as deep. To be honest, it's big enough to fit a modern 17 inch…

Pros
  • Useful for more than intended purpose
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

PERFECT for my Cherry mini trackball keyboard

I bought this to use as a mini keyboard/wrist rest for my favorite Cherry mini trackball keyboard (click and accurate, but so small that it is difficult to balance on one's knees). This little platform allows me to sit with the keyboard in any position — cross-legged, reclined, and so on. The surface is so non-slip that I can use the keyboard almost vertically at right angles. The deck is the same width as my keyboard and because it's taller you can place the keyboard anywhere on it, which I…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

My favorite laptop accessory

This is my second rubber Grifiti knee/tray. My first was a smaller size for my 13 inch Macbook Air which I have been using for a number of years. I continued to use the old laptop after switching to a 15-inch Macbook Pro, and even though it was smaller than a computer, I continued to use it that way for over a year. I used it daily for several years, so yes, at some point the rubber started to separate from the shell. I also have children and this definitely accelerated the process. Just today…

Pros
  • Best in the niche
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish

Good product. Just not for my use.

I've had it for about a week now and actually use it with my 17 inch laptop. It fits perfectly underneath without sticking out to the side. You don't even realize he's there, which I like. My laptop is so easy to lift, move and reposition. I also find it very comfortable to sit on my knees. In my opinion, pillows or cushions are not necessary. Laptops just aren't that heavy. Unfortunately, it's quite thin and flexible and doesn't allow my laptop to breathe well. It's only good for browsing, but

Pros
  • Same as everything before
Cons
  • Compatibility

This desk does what it is advertised to do

The Grifiti kneeling desk does exactly what it is advertised to do. I'm using it with a 13" MacBook Air and I love it. Pros: I like the soft texture overlaying the hard plastic. It's been very durable over the past few weeks of use. It doesn't have a fan, but it does its job well keep the heat off my knees when I run graphics applications on the MBA and they get hot Cons: There aren't many things not to like about it other than some people won't like it because it doesn't have a small part of…

The best portable desk I've ever had (and I've tried a lot of them)

I've looked through many portable desks to find one I really like. I never used one for more than a few months before wanting to try another. Everyone had the same problem: my laptop wouldn't stay on the table. They are almost all angled and my laptop slides down. I have a MacBook Pro so the bottom itself is not grippy. I've tried simple desktops like this and cooled desktops with fans. This one is definitely my favourite. It's completely covered in sticky material. In fact, it looks like a…

This laptop solved all the problems I had before and .

This laptop solved all the problems I had before and replaced my traditional laptop with my 15 inch Macbook Pro Retina. It blocks heat, although it does. Grip (both with my feet and my laptop) is essential when sitting on a couch or chair. This was the main problem I had with my old laptop - the Macbook's feet didn't really stick to smooth surfaces. This is the third Grifiti product I've owned (along with a thin full length bezel and small mouse/trackpad extender) and I have NOT been given a…

Pros
  • understandable even for the old ones
