🪟 12 Mil Clear Safety Anti-Shatter Film Window Protection Vinyl - VViViD (1.5ft x 5ft) Review

This is the second roll of film I've bought. The first worked fine. However, the second one is defective and I can't apply it to the window without a series of lines that won't stick to the glass.

Only had a protective film on one side. After installation, I noticed protrusions on the plastic, making the window look like glass from a fandom. It would be helpful if instructions were included. Instead, we relied on YouTube tutorials.

Product was smaller than advertised, 1 inch smaller in one direction and 0.5 inch in the other. It had a few creases where the backing didn't stick to the plastic. which led me to believe it wouldn't stick to the window either. I will return the item to the seller

Definitely something to learn from. I'm glad I read other reviews first that gave better instructions than the ones that came with the product. However, we have many bubbles. This is good for tailgates or windows, but not very attractive for decorative purposes. You can definitely see it has a movie on it. However, it works well and I feel more secure with this door.

This might be a good material for low-rise windows, but trying to fit it on a curved RV-style windshield - no - won't happen. This material is so thick and stiff that it will NOT conform to ANY slight curve. The more you struggle with it, the more it twists, creases, doesn't stick, repeats. But if you like afternoon swearing, tool-throwing, full of anger and frustration, take a little and go for it.

I'm pretty good at applying foil and have bought the same foil from this company before with no problems. This batch of 12 million is consistent with complaints from other observers. The plastic backing was crumpled about every 8 inches from top to bottom causing adhesion issues and leaving permanent streaks that were actually in the 12mm film itself (not just air bubbles etc). This company should not ship goods without prior verification.

Supplied firmly packaged and without instructions. I cut it to shape and tried to install using the usual spray and squeegee technique. But it didn't lay flat - even after heating it with a very hot hair dryer. Adhesion is weak - easy to remove by hand. And because it's very hard, you need to cut it very precisely or a little smaller than the coverage area; Otherwise, it will blow and peel off at the edges.
