If you use it more than twice, it will lose metal in everything you grind. I bought it to process raw meat economically and conveniently, but after a few uses I found that I could no longer use it. It consists of two pieces of metal that rub against each other when sharpened. If you use it to process food for yourself or your pet, think again and look for another brand. It's not worth the risk.

First off, small suction devices just don't work. And that's fine, because I got it for #1 food safety - how easy it is to disassemble and clean, as is the grinding mechanism itself (there's no metal residue in the meat)! We grind some of our rooster into meatloaf. Anyone who has raised poultry knows how venison from an adult rooster can be and how stringy it is! The meat grinder worked like clockwork.

Broke on first use. I did what the instructions told me: cut the meat into 1-inch pieces and froze for up to 20-30 minutes. Then you grind the meat, and when I did that, the handle broke off, and the meat grinder didn't even stop. I tried to contact the company but nobody answered me. I wasted my money I bought an aluminum countertop and it works so much better than this. I tried to get my money back but no response from the company.

We have a dog who is on a special diet and not only is it a lot cheaper to buy a whole chicken breast, but with this meat grinder it's definitely a lot cheaper to grind the meat I'd rather do it myself than buy it in a store. The grinder itself is very easy to use. The only thing we have to be careful of is that the suction cup is on one of the tiles since we have tiles on our counters.
