Griots Garage 10982 Smudge Remover Review

I've been using the Standard Bug & Tar Remover tool for many years. I can't even tell you the brand; They're just things that have always been in stores and that I've always taken. You know; yellow rectangular bottle. You bought that too. I've become more and more of a Griot's Garage fan lately (the last five years), so I'm buying and trying more of their products. That thing is cool! The truth is I don't know why I waited so long to buy one. You spray it on the front bumps and after a few seconds wipe it off and it's perfectly clean. I no longer have to ruin paint to get rid of dead bugs, this thing just comes clean instantly. I found this my car every few days because it's so easy, just spray and wipe. I park under a maple tree that stains my car with sap that doesn't come off even when I wash my hands. (even harder to remove than insects). It worked very well to remove juice stains. . Remember you should apply this before you wet the car to ensure you get all the stains as you won't be able to see many bug/sap areas after you wet the car. I made that mistake and had to wash twice. I tried this product on a 6 month old bed bug colostrum and the product did exactly what it was supposed to do. The odor is harmless and the spray washes off easily, although it may dry too quickly, so spray and wipe in batches. The only downside I noticed is that you have to be careful when spraying near rubber seals. Spraying and rubbing the rubber leaves black streaks on the surrounding car, which I don't think is good for the rubber's durability. Otherwise this product deserves 5 stars. PS…
