ALMOST perfect for accessories and parts

Works but the bristle face doesn't taper to guide the brush past the pointed nut (or screw), a minor design glitch but you'll notice it in use. Other than that, I wish I had bought it a long time ago. EDIT: After only a few uses the bristles get crushed trying to get between the nuts and the wheels. This item will live a hard and short life. remove stars.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Not bad

I bought this a few years ago but only now found the time to upgrade it. This is probably for the best as I can tell the whole block is very solid. I was a little worried the brushes would fall apart but they lasted about 15-20 washes pretty well. It fits perfectly in my BMW's nut hole and makes cleaning those holes a lot easier. Don't hesitate to invest in one of these brushes if you wash your car yourself (and really want to clean the rim completely), even occasionally, as other brushes have…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Only available in black

Don't be an idiot, clean them up!

I love this brush from Griot's. Not only is it good for cleaning lug holes, but it's also great for those hard-to-reach gaps or cracks. I have an old Mercedes (white) and there are a lot of side moldings on these 2000 320's. And when it's a white car, these areas are sometimes brushed over with fine detail or soft brushes. This dirt isn't visible to most, but it really annoys me. This brush gets into all those areas and doesn't scratch them because the tips are smeared. This brush is soft and…

NOT suitable for cleaning the nut area - UNLESS YOU REMOVE the nut FIRST!

I was hoping the brush had a hole in the center of the head for a tab to fit. This is a stiff brush that does NOT clean protruding areas well. It's too hard and I was afraid the bristles would scratch the surface of the wheels. The design has downsides - the bristles need to be either ring-shaped (so the edge fits into the brush) or semi-circular so you can see the inside of the tip area while brushing. This will probably work just fine IF YOU REMOVE ANY LEAD. You can then stick a brush in that

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Not as thick as the others

Great tool for detailing car wheels

This is one of those tools that after you buy and use it makes you wonder why I didn't think of it or where it all was my life? It's the perfect shape and size for cleaning what is perhaps the most difficult spot on a car, around the lug nuts. I used a washer to clean the nuts because I found it was the only tool that could do it. Lots of hassle and lots of time to set up and then use the washing machine. The toothbrush didn't work so well because it was the right size but the wrong shape…

Pros
  • Highly rated by testers for support and durability
Cons
  • Upgradeable
