Griots Garage 51185 Brilliant Finish Review

I have been using Griots chemicals for a long time, saw that they had just released a new foam gun and decided to give it a try. After adjusting and trying it out, I noticed that my blades weren't in the way. All product images show the blades are vertical. Maybe I got a defect or transport damage. I will be returning this one and direct from the Griots site

I think I've found the best value for money with this foam gun. I used a Harbor Freight electric pressure washer and threw away the gun and hose that came with it. Anyway, it's a garage. I upgraded my hose to a blue hose with no kinks and got a really short pressure washer gun with different tips. Tip: Do not use a crescent moon to tighten the anodized fitting. If you just tighten it by hand it will leak.

This is very disappointing because I really like Griots Garage products (almost all car washes are Griots), but this foam gun is very poorly made from cheap aluminum fittings. The bottle has a coupling so that it can be connected to a pressure washer. I bought one earlier this week and was wearing a cross-threaded coupler for the first time. It's okay, it happens. MTM is dethroned, it's the new king of foam guns. That's all the pluses: -Simple aluminum (spelled correctly) -Large opening, not always struggling with foam residue when rinsing or filling. The premium silicone straw has a stainless steel ball at the end so it sucks up all the soap from the bottle. Relatively cheap foam is the best in the business.
