Bad After Thought by Griots

Cheap After Thought by Grriots. This thing couldn't even accommodate two 2'x2' sections before it started buckling and separating.

Pros
  • Body Repair Tools
Cons
  • Mostly good, but...

not worth it: tools and accessories

this product decomposes within the first few times of use. The foam starts flying off the machine and the velcro side actually fuses to the lining. I can't believe this is a Griot product

Pros
  • buffing and polishing pads
Cons
  • no.

very brittle edge

I have no idea how this happened but on the second panel of a 2013 Volvo xc90 the side of the Interflex foam lost and started to separate. I used it with the Griots Pad as recommended. I will not use again and will not recommend, I will buy Lakecountry HDO pads.

Pros
  • tools and equipment
Cons
  • poor repairability

Not safe to use when cutting, maybe ever

Half punched a fender on the FRS offshoot with this one on my Boss 21 with the Griots MF disc and it melted the foam in the reflective pad and melted the plastic on the reflective pad sent them both fled and almost hit the car. Ruined the inner flexpad, MF pad and pretty much all of the paintwork.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Functional
