I'm a woman who gets her nails dirty gardening. This brush works great. I don't really notice much of a difference between it and the "regular" nail brushes I've used (which don't work). For us gentle women, it's not too rude :).

I would recommend vacuuming it near or under the water nozzle so you can just brush the dirt under your nails and wash it off.
