I bought two of them, one broke after 4-5 months (the lock got stuck and wouldn't open. Nobody touched it), which put me in a difficult position. I had to use a hacksaw to free my scooter. They quickly sent a replacement lock. Excellent customer service, I am satisfied with the solution.

I like this product. It serves as optical anti-theft protection. I use it on my scooter and while it doesn't stop thieves from loading your ride into the back of a truck and driving off, it's pretty hard to get away from. I chose this over the wheel lock because as distracted as I am it will only be a matter of time before I forget to disengage the wheel lock and attempt to drive away with it, damaging the scooter.

Of course, if someone really wants to steal your bike and has enough privacy and time, I suppose it can be circumvented, but it's a great deterrent that isn't easily ripped off can . Comes with 3 interchangeable rubber grommets and an adjustment slider that holds the brake lever so they fit almost any bike. A NOTICE. Beware of fake grip locks. They look exactly the same (at least in the photos) but they say "caps-lock". Of course they are cheaper but I don't know their quality compared to real…

Although this item will work with 1" to 1.5" handlebars, it says nothing about the brake lever. Well, the brake lever on my 2016 Sportster 48 XL1200X is too thick to fully close and won't lock up. The lock itself looks and works well and is easy to use but unfortunately I can't use it which is why I gave it 4 stars. Maybe I could make a notch to fit the lock with a file or something, but that would reduce security and I didn't want to mess with it, so I had to use a different type. lock
