🧀 Enhanced OXO Good Grips Box Grater: With Removable Zester - Unbeatable Kitchen Tool! Review

This is by far the best cheese grater I've ever owned. It's dishwasher safe, easy to store, feels good in your hand and the blade attachment detaches from the side so you don't have to use everything to grate the zest on a lemon. NEVER rub anything. Also very nice is that it has a measuring cup distributor that snaps onto it in case you need to measure on the go. It really helps curb the cheese you're grinding.

UPDATE: downgraded to 1 star. The replacement was even quicker than the first. Although Oxo says it's NOT dishwasher safe as the plastic just isn't strong enough to withstand even a Miele dishwasher without a dryer element. ORIGINAL: This grater is sharp, easy to clean and has a clever collection of mugs that fit into the base for storage. It's way better than the cheap, rusty, all-metal it replaced. However, it ripped in 3 different places in less than 3 months after brief use. Revain customer

When I first ordered the jar lid was broken (one corner chipped). I have requested a replacement. The same piece (the lid of the container) was also broken when it was replaced - even worse than the first because that one was unusable. Like a grater, nothing. It works. But like a box grater, well, some of the cheese falls outside of the box onto the counter. Not much, but enough to notice and mention. I had a microplane grater many years prior to this Oxo and don't recall having this microplane
