Top Produced Screws: Fasteners

GRK screws are the only screws I buy more and if you happen to try one you'll be fine. Star nuts prevent stripping and a matching bit is included, plus they're easy to control and countersink when needed. Screws are cheaper to find, but better not to find. I have bought several sizes and lengths and they are all very effective. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Hands Free
Cons
  • Very Expensive

Great screws at a great price.

These are really good screws. I assembled a 1x6 pine board with 4 guitar hangers in my studio and hand fitted all the screws with a screwdriver. I tried using Phillips head screws from my local hardware store and the first 3 clicked like toothpicks and fell off. You can't hit heads with a star pattern. It is almost impossible to disassemble them. These screws are excellent value for money. I would definitely buy them again.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Good screw, worth the money.

I bought these screws for easy fastening of thick square timber. The screw itself is fantastically built, solid construction with some nifty features that definitely make it easier to use. The hex/star head is a great feature that allows you to easily dig in the rod without removing the snaffle or head. Each package comes with a hex bit, just the size you need, fitting almost any drill or screwdriver on the market. The container the screws are now shipped in isn't as good as their old…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • I don't remember
