Description of 🎨 Ivory Grout Pen Tile Paint Marker: Waterproof Grout Colorant and Sealer Pen - Ivory, Narrow 5mm Tip (7mL)

LOOK BRAND NEW: Skip scrubbing tiles and use Grout Pen to paint and recolor your grout for a bright clean appearance. USE ANYWHERE: Ideal for the bathroom, kitchen, and any other room that has floor or ceiling tiles. LONG LASTING INK: Tackle small or large DIY projects with a pen that covers up to 150 feet of thin 2mm grout. ADVANCED FORMULA: Non-toxic, water-based colorant that covers grubby grout stains making it look brand new again. NOTE: Grout Pen may not bond to sealed grout. Test the porosity of the grout with a few drops of water. If the grout does not absorb the water drops within a few minutes, this indicates that the grout was probably sealed.

Just buy it! good for hardware

I was talking about replacing tiles in the lobby but decided to buy an ivory colored grout marker to improve the look of the tiles. The original color of the grout was sandy brown and after several cleaning attempts it still looked dirty to me. The ivory marker looks white on the tile, but the before and after photos speak for themselves. The tiles now look clean and it only took 15 minutes to create for less than $10. Just buy it!

Game Changes! - Adhesives and Sealants

This is a game changer. We just bought a house and are working on a dressing until we get to the real thing. Our bath needed some serious love. On the left side of the photo you can see how the joints between the bathroom tiles initially look. On the right is an update with a mortar handle! It looks MUCH better. Much cleaner, and people have even told us that it looks like we've completely reworked the solution. I highly recommend this product. I bought it twice!

Not for horizontal surfaces

I have purchased several of these grout pencils and have used them with great success. I've used them on floor tiles before. This time I wanted to restore the grout on the bathroom tiles. In my opinion these grips do not work well with tiles. Literally after a few squares, the pen stopped working. I kept shaking it but the color didn't fill the tip. I tried the second one, thinking the first one was defective, but the same thing happened. Also, the ivory color was lighter than the color on the…

Not as advertised on adhesives and sealants

I ordered 6 of these grips to redo my bathroom grout. I opened a pen and tried it on a cement mortar of the same name. The color was a strong bright white, not the ivory I ordered which was listed on the package label. Also, the paint was very thin - obviously it would take 5 or 6 coats to fully cover the joints. Who has that much time to be on all fours, going through every groove, waiting for it to dry, and repeating the whole process 5 or 6 times? No way! Life is too short, the floors are…

A complete waste of money and effort

I have a 4x6 shower with sliding glass doors so about 14'x8' tile area. The tiles were painted light beige, so I chose ivory to paint them. I bought 6 markers and they were all the same. Much less color in the marker than necessary! I pulled about 6 inches before having to shake again to get more paint onto the tip. When the paint came out it covered the grout stains, but there was so little of it in each marker it was a waste of money. At $9 each, the shower was $54 and I left out some areas I

Comfortable but looks good.

I'll start with the good. It is very convenient and easy to use. Looks great on grout with tile, really refreshes the look of the floor and is easier than grouting and re-grouting. I have a new install so can't comment on durability or stain resistance yet. Now for the not so good ones. The color swatches in the descriptions are not really helpful in determining what the color will look like on grout with your tile. One of the downsides of buying something like this online. We completed 4 or 5…

A Tale of Two Mortar

PLEASE DEFINE WHAT TYPE OF MORTAR YOU HAVE BEFORE USING THIS PRODUCT! If you have a hard, granular, pumice-type grout, you'll love the result. The color penetrates into the grout, which makes cleaning easier and ensures a smooth, even and consistent application. On the other hand, if you have a soft, smooth, stretchy, joint-like grout, you will most likely curse this product. It will look like your child literally painted the joints with a brush. The paint slides and smears across the grout…
