I would say that the main benefit of these LEDs is that the light output is much more consistent than the OEMs, meaning you can see more real detail than ghostly filament output. And I hope they last a lot longer than incandescent bulbs, they definitely stay a lot cooler than incandescent bulbs. If they don't stand up to use I'll write a follow up review as I only used them for about 15 minutes at night.
