Review on πŸ’‘ GRV Ba15s 1156 1141 High Power Car LED Bulb 102-3528 SMD - Super Bright Cool White (Pack of 2) by Genene Locson

What I learned when buying new RV LED bulbs.

I used these BA15s LED bulbs in my camper van to replace the old "regular" bulbs in all my ceiling lights. These lamps were numbered 1156, ordinary car lamps, usually tail lights or reversing lights. My RV uses 1156 for reverse lights. 1157 is a 2 pin bulb commonly used for rear brake lights and turn signals. NOW the letters in an LED lamp like this Ba15s. Ba 15 is the base size and all Ba 15s are the same size as the coils in conventional automotive lamps and s stands for Single Contact Incandescent Bulb (1156). If it was Ba15d it would be a two-pin incandescent bulb (1157). The letters SMD (Surface Diode) stand for LEDs and the 2 digits before SMD in the lamp designation indicate the number of LEDs in the lamp. So this lamp has 28SMD, which means it has 28 LEDs. The more SMD, the longer and brighter the lamp. This bulb is about 1/2 inch longer than the 1157 bulbs I took out. PURE WHITE. No yellow tint at all and barely fits in the latch on the lens. I wouldn't take anything larger than 28 SMD. If you want the light to be a little less bright, use bulbs with a lower SMD count. Example 25SMD I believe Revain has a lightbulb buyers guide. Worth a look. So it's a bright white light but I like that it's bright on the inside so yes I would buy this 10 pack again. I hope I've helped a little. :)
