This cable works well for projects where you need to use low voltage electricity. Copper is of good quality and solders well. I recommend it for automotive DIY work projects or other low voltage applications.

Purchased to connect my mobile and backpack units to the Astron power supply. Excellent stranded copper wire, holds its shape well with good insulation and connection between +/-. Definitely worth it. If you have a 12V project, you should use this specific cable, especially if it's something automotive like radios or amplifiers.

Beware of the strange language of this product. It's only 25 feet long, the 50 foot "general" description is ridiculous. Wire length is standardized in feet with the specified number of strands. You don't join strands together to get an "overall length". Otherwise, the wire appears to be of good quality, but don't get caught up in your project!

Large thickness. You know when you need to hook up your DVC subwoofer and try to stuff the (2) wires together into the subwoofer jack? That's that good solid thickness that barely fits! This is good quality wire. The ONLY problem is that when soldering, the heat melts the insulation too easily. I can handle it, but it's worth mentioning.

CORRECT! Perfect for car audio! I use it to connect two 12" Rockford Fosgate P3D2 subwoofers to a Hifonics Zeus 1200 monoblock amp. It's pretty hard to find real, genuine oxygen-free copper wire. But look no further! This wire is amazing! Any gauge/ length you need and perfect for automotive systems will definitely buy again!

This lanyard has copper strands (>30 strands) of the correct size. Using vernier calipers, I measure 0.102" in diameter, and the standard nominal diameter for 12 AWG is 0.104". The insulation looks good too. The walls are certainly thick enough for low voltage and even 120VAC use, although this is not recommended. Excellent value for money!

Good quality wire. The insulation is thick, the wire is fairly flexible, easily pulled through holes, etc. The conductors are of good quality. The cable is not what I expected, hence the 4 stars. I know this is unfair as it was my expectation that caused me to deduct a star. The insulation on the wire is a kind of double layer.
