This is a GT-3WP dustproof and waterproof resisting two way radio. After 30 minutes into one meter underwater, the radio still works very well. It ensures GT-3WP's reliability in wet environments. Frequency range: VHF 130-176 MHz UHF 400-520 MHz 65MHz-108MHz (only commercial FM radio reception). High power / mid / low (5W / 3W / 1W) selectable; Selectable Frequency Step 2.5/5/6.25/10/12.5/20/25/50 KHz; Broadband (wide 25KHz) / Narrowband (narrow 12.5KHz) selectable. Waterproof Baofeng: CB & Talkback Radios

Great product. I've had a few Baofeng (mostly UV-82) but this is my favorite due to its IP67 rating. I haven't personally tested the water resistance, but I'm satisfied.

  • This is a GT-3WP Dustproof & Waterproof Talkback Radio. After 30 minutes submersion at a depth of one meter, the radio still works very well. This makes the GT-3WP reliable in wet environments.

Overall very good on the radio

Great product - used in extreme environments - lots of accessories available - great sound. No disturbing noises when hunting. The battery life is excellent. Can also be used as an FM radio. It's a little hard to learn how to program, but it comes with some instructions.

The price of this radio for the features offered is great. You get a lot for a little. Be careful, this radio is not user friendly and the manual must be read carefully to get the most out of it. As others have said, the frequency programming on this radio was PITA! An optional kit can be purchased to make things a bit easier, but the Chinese software that came with the kit was useless and buggy. I bought 4 of these radios elsewhere after a bad experience with Sanatop (they sent my order to the wrong address and it took forever to get replaced). Great radio for FRS and HAM

I bought this to use the FRS and HAM radio, and it lives up to the advertising of other Baofeng radios and adds waterproofing. Waterproofing is achieved by gaskets and seals throughout the radio. For added protection, I recommend opening up the radio and applying a conformal silicone coating to the electronics. Fortunately, the radio is very easy to disassemble and reassemble.
