For the first time in my life, the clutch cable broke while I was riding my motorcycle home from work. One of the most confusing situations I've ever been in. I managed to get the bike home, ordered a kit and it's working perfectly again!

Bought a year ago on a long trip. Recently my OEM cable finally snapped while driving. I pulled into a parking lot, hit the emergency switch and replaced the cable with this kit in 15 minutes.

I was driving through town when my clutch cable snapped at the handlebars. Luckily I had this kit under my seat and a couple of vises and within 10 minutes I was back on the road with a new cable. I've had it for a few months now and it hasn't stretched even an inch.

This is a nice thing to have in your tool kit for your bike. Actually for friends who are also traveling with us. I haven't used it yet but I like it. This can fix a cable long enough to get you home (and then buy the correct replacement part).

Great product. I paid $75 for a rebuilt throttle cable (for a Chrysler Snorunner - very hard to find) that didn't fit the way I wanted (especially at this price point). I bought two of these kits and have since rebuilt two identical throttle cables that fit exactly how I wanted. I am very satisfied with the product and will buy more. I will never buy a remanufactured throttle or brake cable again, not when it's that easy to rebuild my own.

Finally! A kit that allows you to position the end caps correctly to cut and splice the cable end so it doesn't slip or break! I used it to replace the spring loaded drive cable on a Christini 4WD kit on my 2008 KTM 530 EXC-R. Replacing parts just for the cable was not possible. This kit just fixed it with 2 cable options and multiple cable ends!

Great kit. Used to adjust the length of a custom throttle cable, an idle return cable purchased years ago that I suspected was too long. Too much gas play. The smallest barrel in this set was perfect. Lightly solder about 1/2 inch from the end, cut off the existing nipple, pull the barrel out of this kit, a drop of high-temp threadlocker, done.
