Grater, not zest

If you're not very careful, lemons and limes are easily peeled to the bitter core on a smaller grater. In addition, the cleaning brush easily leaves bristles when cleaning. A good toothbrush will work better. A large grater is very good for cheese, but a smaller grater isn't very useful for grating peel.

Difficult to clean, not safe to use. The blade's weird design makes it look awful, see picture.

Very difficult to clean. When trying to remove the skin, the blades grab the fruit and stop moving. You have to use extra force to keep it moving. The handling is jerky, the blades are sharp enough, you can easily hurt yourself. This cester has square blades instead of the typical round ones. That's a problem. The fruits hang from the corners.

Good quality product.

These graters are very sharp. The larger grates the cheese quite finely, if you're looking for something that gives a thicker grated cheese they won't do it. The smaller grater is great for grating citrus or ginger. They are very sharp and very easy to clean. The plastic lids they come with snap securely into place, making them easy to store away. I would buy them again or recommend them to a friend.
