We love and own several different types of thermos water bottles. For hiking, this option is best suited. It doesn't leak, it can be locked to prevent accidental opening of the lid, it keeps the water cold and it's easy to carry.

We have replaced an old bottle that is no longer for sale. we were worried about how it would work. But I like the slimmer design and the lid is pretty solid. The loop feature not going anywhere annoys me, but that doesn't really bother me. I would also change the position of the lock on the lid as every time I fill the bottle I have to make sure it doesn't lock when I close it. Overall good quality and keeps my ice water ice cold!

I am very satisfied with this product. I use this thermos for water or soda. It maintains the pressure of carbonated water for quite a long time. It keeps everything cool outside of my work day well. I wish it could handle hot drinks too, but I knew it didn't before I bought it. I have several other screw top thermoses. Love the fact that this cap covers the drinking spout so dust, bacteria etc can't be where I put my lips.

After about 2 months of use, I noticed a decrease in the functionality of the spout cover. It turns over much slower than when new. Sometimes it won't open and I have to open it with my finger to drink. Also, I think the pen is always in the way. If you use it to pick it up, you have to push it down to drink. In general, I would have preferred a thinner screw cap like the Camelbak with a firm grip. I love how easy it is to clean.

This is an amazing thermos. This is the perfect size for me. Absorbs quite a lot of liquid and is still easy to transport. If you want your liquid to stay cool all day, add cold water and ice to the thermos ahead of time (about 15 minutes) to allow the thermos to cool. Then pour out the water and top up with a drink and ice and it stays slightly cool throughout the day. I live in the triple digits so I checked out this thermos. I couldn't be happier with my purchase!

Terrible bottle to take away. 4 times it spilled in my Burberry bag! And again everything is at the head of my bed, And again when I lay down to put on a life jacket and I needed this water for a 4 hour rafting. Every time I locked it! Last time I put it tightly in a neoprene bag and it still popped up on its own! I hate this bottle! Since I can't return it I leave it at home and when I use it I NEVER put it aside. I will never believe that crap again. DO NOT BUY!

I bought this for my student to take out in the lunch bag as he wants to drink more now and his old thermos with collapsible straw isn't very big. Good capacity but still fits in a standard sized lunch bag and easy to clean. Not very good: even with the lock, it sometimes opens.
