The roof anchor is made of approximately 1/8" thick steel and has a heavy duty 1/4" eyelet for attaching a safety wire. One end of the plate on both plates has an eyelet for the eyelet, and the wrapped side is welded, the eyelet can move freely depending on which side of the visor you are on. The anchor came with half screws and half nails, I needed screws so I bought extra screws. I permanently installed the anchors. I really like the product.

Robust and adjustable for every roof pitch. It has something like a cadmium coating to prevent rusting. Some smaller items are made of painted steel only. It's definitely reusable. It should be cleaned, oiled and stored in a ziplock bag with roofing or household tools along with fasteners.
