Everything was normal for a week and burst. My puppy is 29lbs, 5 months old and only wore this collar to go to the bathroom. It's hard to find an 18 inch snake collar, but I assure you, this is not what you need.

However, this is our third time using it; The previous two broke or stretched to the point where we thought they might break. We have a 45 lb dog that needs to be restrained when another dog is sneaking up on him which can cause excessive tension/collar wear. We try to keep a stock in case we notice a weak point in the collar.

Like expensive equipment bought at dog shows. Very thin, light and attractive. Beautiful silver colour. A good functional show collar for purposes where you really want your canine pal to "shine"! This may not be the ideal walker collar as it is a choke collar unless you have a very well trained dog who does not pull on it.

Very nice collar. I for what I needed, unfortunately it was not suitable for my dog. Shows Chinese Crested Dogs but the chain is too long and won't hold tight. Although, as I said, it's beautiful! I would recommend this more for Bostons, Bulldogs etc with fuller necklines.

Love it I bought this specifically for the ibr show for my french bulldog I would love it if they offered 19 inches instead of 18 but it was perfect for showing my bulldog and not having to have a large collar on the go. He won Best French Bulldog and Best French Bulldog Overall and I know that played a part in that. Many Thanks

This collar should be 18 inches long. I bought it to use next weekend. When it arrived it was almost 1.5 inches shorter, didn't have time to return it and get a replacement, I contacted the MANUFACTURER of the collar myself, they were awful :-( THIS PRODUCT IS NOT AS IT SHOULD BE, HORRIBLE if I could give it zero stars I would bet the customer service was BAD NEWS.

My dog has a longer coat and the trendy collars (actually the only ones available in local stores) look good but can get very dirty. Also, his hair always got caught on his collar and I had to pull it off regularly. I love this collar and it's almost invisible except for where the tags pull it down. I probably wouldn't put a line on it as it can break due to the sometimes very strong pull, but I have a halter for that.
