Guardsman Renew & Protect for Leather: Waste of money

Not more than 2 years ago we bought a very expensive leather daybed. We have signed up for the Guardsman Skin Protection Guarantee. It involved using Guardsman Renew & Protect for Leather. It was applied every month to keep the skin clean and soft. In less than 2 years we see that part of the sofa cracks and peels off. We informed Guardsman of the problem and they informed us that they do not cover cracked leather. So we're stuck. Obviously their products don't do what they advertise. I wouldโ€ฆ

Dries quickly to a soft shine.

I bought a leather sofa and club chair with matching ottoman, it was expensive like all leather so like everyone else I have to steam it from time to time. I use Guardsman to cushion my furniture which I find if your skin is dry you need to treat the skin with Guardsman Renew and apply multiple coats to offset the drying effects of heating in winter, air conditioning in summer and direct sunlight fight. Guardsman is easy to apply as I poured the liquid into a spray bottle, Guardsman Renew isโ€ฆ

I buy Guardsman wipes once a month for protection and preservation and then use this product twice a year to keep skin looking new. We also have a passive house.

I buy this along with several packs of wipes that Guardsman sell each year. As I have both a day bed and a large chair in my den, a leather armchair in my library and a leather headboard and footboard in my master bedroom, not to mention a husband who loves to eat in the den in front of the TV , and 3 dogs that always want your attention. Even if they don't stand on furniture they rub against, this product is for you. I buy Guardsman wipes once a month for protection and preservation and thenโ€ฆ
