Cheaply made. - my new review

I bought this item through ebay. It was sent in a large ebay envelope. The Item was broken in two separate places. I was able to use super glue to reattach the broken pieces to the item. Also, the item is held together with two screw bolts. One of the screw bolts was missing the nut. I think the item will work right without it.

  • Bought one to try for chokecherrys, it worked so well we bought 2 more. Makes picking so much easier!

  • The metallic material of the comb may cause scratches on the surface of the fruit, damaging it in the process

Not pricey, low quality

The first berry picker arrived with bent/broken prongs and the wide metal part the prongs were welded to was crooked (both relative to the red plastic box and the metal prongs). I figured this was simply a defective piece that got through 'the line'. I returned it and ordered a new one (both of which were thankfully easy to do). The new one wasn't damaged, but the wide metal part was still crooked relative to the prongs and the whole thing ended up a little wonky. It'll probably work fine, but…

It rakes off all the berries, even the green ones.

It works great when you want to pick all the berries, but our bushes have to be picked several times throughout the season. We only use it the final harvest.

Too much waste - my new review

Ideally it would have been great, but unfortunately, blueberry bushes produce their fruit ripening at different times. There’s no one time to use this product as too many berries are wasted during harvest.

Fantastic! - my new review

This little gadget is light weight, easy to use, seems very sturdy and picked my choke cherry bush clean in about 20 minutes. I love this thing! My 4 year old grandson was able to use it with ease. What a great invention.

Good berry picker best in my review

Good shape and design. Very pleased with function. Comb and backing prevent berries from easily falling out while picking berries.

Came with custom hole punched through the side

Came with hole punched through the box and picker.I’m going to use it instead of returning it because it a big waste of time to return it not only mine but shipping n processing it through a system that is ultimately going to toss it in a dumpster that fills some landfill with more plastic.All because ebay has a "policy” to return n get another or pay for another one.I don’t need 2🙄I’ll fix it n use it instead.The product itself looks well built.Just lousy packing job for shipping.

This was a bad idea

The quality of the product is fine. It didn't fall apart in my hand or anything. The method is flawed. It simply doesn't work so therefore the product is completely unnecessary

picks green and ripe alike

We had hoped this picker would help harvest blueberries from our large patch, but the problem is it removes the green berries along with the ripe, so there is nothing left to ripen later. No one would want their entire crop removed on the first picking, so this picker does more harm than good.
