🍬 Gourmet Gumball Machine - Elevating Snack Dispensation Elegantly Review

Bought for my husband to put on the table. Only used a few months, broken glass inside. The entire glass section above flew out and smashed everywhere! VERY DANGEROUS! VERY badly done! It also came loose from the ring it was attached to about a month after we got it and I had to put it back on! Too bad it didn't work out, especially since it wasn't exactly cheap!

The machine is quite heavy but its base isn't really metal. The dispenser dispenses 3 1/2 inch gum balls immediately and does not dispense 1 inch gum balls at all. To refill, you have to unscrew the ball from the base, which can break the glass. The top tip is glued on but simply had to be unscrewed to refill. Despite the stylish looks, I don't recommend this machine, mainly because it doesn't dose accurately.

I read reviews warning me that it wasn't strong and broke almost immediately. In terms of price and looks. I decided to take a chance. Guilty. It arrived broken. And I now understand (after reading the reviews too) what everyone means when they say it's inconvenient to put candy upside down in a bubble. I was picking candy when I realized the base of the bubble was broken and I couldn't seal it tightly. Spring. Lesson learned!

This is a nice gumball machine but I wouldn't buy it for a small office. The handle broke a month after purchase due to stuck candy. I would definitely go for one that has a metal handle to rotate and release the candy/gum. We had 1/2 stick of gum taped to the set. One of the guys tried to use his strength to push the lever and it broke. It's made of plastic. Even if I had older kids who could handle things roughly, I wouldn't buy them again. Looks very nice.
