This piece is well padded and offers excellent fall protection from an EBike mountain bike! But it's heavy and very hot on a hot summer day!

When they say run little, they mean it. 3X is more like 1 1/2 x. be tight. I wasn't impressed with the zipper or Velcro on the belt. I had to return the money

This jacket just saved my son's life and body last weekend when he was run over by a deer and fell off the road about 25 times. The skid plates did their job of protecting him. Only 1 cracked on a direct hit (elbow pads). However, the grate between them gave way, letting his hands touch the road. The buckles and straps seemed to hold up well. The rib shields also protected him well.

Where's that for road travel? better than nothing. Looks cool and older riders always say they wish they could wear this kind of protection which shows me the road rash. I received direct blows to the chest from pebbles and large bugs at high speeds. I don't even feel them. I didn't fall here *knock on wood* but this armor is awesome! The plastic seems very strong (I can't bend it at all). The mesh is breathable, which is a heavenly attribute to live in Florida. I bought the 3XL as a 5ft 11,220lb woman with broad shoulders and it fits great. I was apprehensive after reading some of the reviews but this fits very well. For the money this armor is excellent. Use under an off-road jacket keeps you out of routine low-speed junkyards. Good protection for arms, shoulders, upper back, upper chest. It will NOT protect your ribs, kidneys or stomach. Build quality is decent and offers adequate ventilation.
