I've wanted to replace my original Garmin strap for a long time because I got tired of the plain black color - the strap is still 100% intact. The whole process was very easy and the screws provided were the same as the original (see picture). The entire exchange took about 10 minutes. Overall it looks like a good fit but only time will tell.

Oh my god! It was DIFFICULT to change. The silicone holes do not fit from the new strap to the old one. The included screws are too long and pointy and could go through parts of your watch, as another reviewer noted. You have to push down very hard on the small screwdriver while screwing the tiny factory screws back in. It took about 35 minutes to change the strap and my husband helped. You seriously get what you pay for. It was a real pain to change.

I gave 1 for installation because the tools provided are NOT ENOUGH. The size is WRONG! In fact, they stripped the screws off my new Forerunner! I had to take the watch to the jeweler! The jeweler asked "WHY DID YOU USE THESE TOOLS?" When I left the jeweler he wasn't sure he could fix it! I'm sure people say it's my fault but I'm here to tell you I was very careful removing the screws! In fact, I quit and even my husband took responsibility. Almost ruined my new watch!

I bought this extra strap when I bought my Garmin fitness tracker. Unfortunately, I did not check whether it fits my tracker. Looks the same as the original tape. When I tried to install it, one side snapped into place and I was able to screw it on with no problems. The other half of the tape didn't fit, and after 45 minutes of trying I gave up. The ridges that should help with strap placement just don't match the tracker. Definitely a quality control issue. Very disappointed in this company…

I'm going to talk about the installation and what you need to do. The group comes with a couple of extra tiny Phillips screws. I would recommend using your old ones (not pointed and they use a torx screwdriver for better grip and less stripping). Do not use new screws. The included small Phillips screwdriver is too finicky with the screws. It removes the included screws and when you get to the point you have to use some force to keep the screw from turning.
