LOVE this bookcase. This is exactly what I was looking for. I needed something to get off the ground that wasn't pressing against my outlet. I was able to safely hang it where the outlet is under the bottom shelf and it's good that it hides the unsightly cords! I collect myself with a drill. Quite easy

I really liked it. I was concerned when I opened the package as some of the brackets were clearly not at a 90 degree angle, but screwing the board down completely solved that problem. I didn't get an installation guide, but that's common sense. It would be nice if the boards were pre-drilled with holes for the screws and some sort of template would be ideal.

Looks good, as expected, sturdy. While there are no instructions included with the device, the trick is to screw everything together first, which requires two people. After screwing the shelves to the metal brackets (small pilot holes first), we attached the entire shelf to the wall. Definitely easier than screwing the brackets to the wall and then floating the shelves.

As other reviewers have noted, you get what you pay for with this shelf. Installation and assembly were relatively intuitive; With patience, careful measurements, and a 4 inch spirit level, I hung it myself in about 30 minutes. One of the brackets was not welded level, so even after the shelf is bolted on, there is still a 1/16 inch gap between the shelf and the bracket. This was literally the worst product nightmare I've ever dealt with. First, there were no instructions included with the shelves. Second, there weren't 8 screws in the box. Third, there are no pre-drilled holes, making assembly an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE. Natural pine shelves. This is the best feature of the product. The joints of wood and metal are held together by spot welding, creating an incredibly fragile piece when assembled. These shelves will sag in the middle unless you're only using them for a few picture frames or light knick-knacks. Forget loading those shelves with books.
