I bought this for holes in front of my house to keep out pests. It was easy to cut and easy to use. I couldn't ask for more from this product.

Gap Filler Copper

I bought this copper filler to fill gaps between my house and garage and to keep mice out. Easy to use. Filled with NEXEL sealant. Hopefully when it's done it will also protect against some insects.

Pros
  • Multiple Competitors
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Copper Grid Rules! in Decking & Fencing

Nothing works better than copper mesh to create an impenetrable rodent barrier. Small creatures cannot chew it and it does not rust like steel wool. We fought mice in our basement for ten years before using this product. Success!

Pros
  • An Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Prize Piggy Bank

Highly recommended for protection from unwanted visitors

We have had mice getting in where the foundation met the frame/skin under our bay windows. I bought a roll of this copper, crumpled it up and filled in all the cracks. There are no more mice. The product is plastic and effective. highly recommended to protect against unwanted visitors.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • There are defects

lightweight and easy to use

We used this to seal our motorhome against mice for the winter. We wedged it with a thin file in small open areas, corners and edges. We hope this will help reduce the way they penetrate the camper more than steel wool. It was very easy to use and very durable despite being thin and light. The roll has come a long way and was more than enough for our 17ft RV. It's also old from the 70's so there are a lot of gaps that need to be fixed.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model

No label, no manufacturer, not sure if it's copper mesh

Just not sure if it's really copper mesh. Revain shipped it in a clear plastic sleeve opened with an Amazon sticker. There is no manufacturer's name or label. How am I supposed to know if this is a genuine product or just a copy of what I just wasted? I compared it to the net the pest controllers had. The mesh is not like what people in pest control have, it is too shiny and breaks easily. I'm not sure if this is a genuine product or a duplicate. Instead, check the home store for real products.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Reliability

Works but does not oxidize green; Don't think I have 100% copper

(now April 2021) Purchased April 2019 to patch drainage holes in the bricks around my house. The ones put there by a professional exterminator a few years ago oxidized to a green color (just like copper) and there weren't a pair. I pulled out all the old ones and replaced them with this copper material. Some time passed, but last fall the copper color finally faded/oxidized to dark grey. If this material was 100% copper, it should have oxidized to a green color like the material previously…

Pros
  • Permanent test results
Cons
  • Negative impression
