They do their job. I've just started cutting my husband's hair and these clippers are perfect. Gets a little warm if used for too long. Or maybe I'm cutting to slow down. Rschunimagu. Generally good cars!

I was disappointed when I opened the box. The clipper is described as gold and looks like metal in the picture, but it's actually a bright orange, which I don't like. The clippers also had minor scratches and abrasions, I also poured a fair amount of oil into the "new car" and it still pulled my hair. I would not buy again.

I bought it for my husband for his birthday in May - he gets his hair cut about once a month. It stopped working properly after just two uses (and yes, we follow the care instructions and clean/oil it); The blade doesn't move back and forth properly, it's noisy, and it's awful to cut. Don't waste money on it.

They seem solid! I've cut my hair twice now and am very pleased with how easy it is to achieve a smooth transition. There are many essays as well as a leaflet on how to cut your hair. The blades are sharp, the hair does not stick. I also appreciate that they come with sharp, functional scissors. This is a great deal for the price.

What happened to the quality of Wahl products. A wall that had been used for many years that I bought 10 years ago for $15 finally stopped wearing so I bought a new one. I used them for the first time today and had to pull out my old one to finish my haircut because the clippers kept getting cold and wouldn't cut my hair. No matter how you set it, when you start cutting your hair, it will lock automatically and just pull your hair. Not very impressed, I wonder what happened to Val

Upon opening the box I noticed the blade guard had been removed and the blade was damaged. Two ends are broken. I'm glad I checked the clippers before using them, they could have cut my son. Controls on all products need to be strengthened so customers like me can be assured that the products we buy are SAFE, RELIABLE AND IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.

I almost bought it after reading some reviews. I have to say if Val had sent me a pair of scissors that looked used I would have been pissed too. Luckily there weren't any. My previous hair clipper was also made by Wahl but it was the cordless version and the battery lasted about 3 years before almost losing its ability to hold a charge for more than about 2 minutes, TOPS. My previous clippers battery purred for about 5 seconds before I noticed a decrease in battery life. They're only about $17

Classic Wahl clipper with excellent performance. Bought these to replace a 12 year old Wahl set. Sharper with better comb retention, I'm very happy with the performance and the cost. Note: The hair clipper blade may need some adjustment/alignment if bumped during transport. Mine did, and if you follow the instructions that came with it, everything is fine. Highly recommended.
