Bought 6 lamps for several months of use without failure. Good light quality (high CRI) so worth the extra cost compared to cheaper lamps.

Very happy with how this light spreads (no speckle effect). Easy installation. Dimming works great with my old Decora Style dimmer without LEDs.

Super easy install, great light and brightness but poor low settings when using a dimmer. Light levels are inconsistent when set to low levels on the dimmer. It will be pitch black in there, then jump 3/7 of the way up.

I originally ordered this model because I needed extra lumens for a higher ceiling in a large room. They give good, dimmable light. There was a mix up with my original order and they sent 3 items that were exactly the same and one that was completely different. Excellent: very nice warm diffused light made a big difference in the kitchen lighting where cans were lit with a hodgepodge of 65-85w reflector bulbs (previous owner), IMO , was not sufficient to illuminate the room. There's no hum and they dim very well, with the color of the light remaining nearly the same across the brightness range. Two photos, one of this item and one of the Feit lamp I am replacing. Feit burns out after 2 years at 8 hours a day, not at 50,000 hours. I love the CRI and lumens of this halo as well as the look. I just installed it so can't comment on durability. My only criticism is the springs. You want it to pull hard towards the ceiling so the feathers are very tight and can detach from the side leg. Hold the side leg with your thumb and two fingers and compress the springs; then slide up into the glass.

I tested this flashlight with similar products from Green Creative, Hyperikon and Lithonia. Compared to the competition, it behaves like a product of the latest generation.
