The ONLY fit for my 13 lb cat. Wish they were size XL

My cat is an adult shorthaired black domestic cat, medium sized but weighs about 13 pounds. This harness barely fits her without being too tight, but should work. Not the best workmanship, but you get what you pay for. Easy to set up.

Pros
  • Best in the niche
Cons
  • Safety

I was expecting this figure eight tourniquet to tighten when pulled.

I expected this back strap to tighten when pulled. It's not designed for that. I think it was my fault for not checking it. I will say that it was very difficult for all of us to open and close the buckle because it is so small.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Pretty good

Works great on an 8.5 lb cat

We use this on our cat to keep her from flying into our neighbors yard. She seems fine, just sitting outside. It attaches easily and snaps into place quickly. Until now, 2 months later, she has not been able to free herself from it.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Not sure

Houdini proof? for cats

So far, so good. My 17 lb cat takes this harness much quicker than the h style which he can get Houdini out of in a second. I hope he doesn't get off that easy. I've used the stern line successfully in the past, hope it works again on this guy.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • A little variety

Great for a cat! in cats

Caring for our daughter's Savannah. We live in the country and he enjoys walking but has outgrown his original harness. After some research, we decided on this type of harness because it is said to be more escape-proof. What is that! It also seems more comfortable for the cat and is very easy to put on. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who has a cat that enjoys walking outside.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Newer model could have been chosen

My favorite style of harness is

I was just upset that I didn't think to measure our kitty before ordering. The medium size could be shrunk, but the small size will only fit him for a few more weeks! We only have one more cat that wears a harness, but this has always been my favorite style. When you need to put a harness on a cat, you want it to be quick. The loop goes around the neck/upper chest and the other loop (with clip) snaps around the stomach.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • There are nuances

"Big " compared to what?

I don't know why I always think that any harness named "Cat Harness" will fit my cat. They never do. But I saw this one and thought the eight could be better, and it's "big". My cat is only 12 pounds but she should have big breasts. It's pretty cozy. I think I'll keep it anyway, but I wish I hadn't brought a small dog harness. However, it has a beautiful color that goes well with the picture. And it appears to be quality suspension.

Pros
  • Persistent Test Results
Cons
  • Some Difficulties
