I have had many collars in the past and this is one of the best. I've had it for a few months now and it hasn't worn off and is still relatively clean. It pops up every now and then, but that's the way it's supposed to be. In my opinion, having a collar that comes off is better than your cat choking on it.

Well it arrived yesterday - it was worn for about 15 minutes when Tom was wandering around the house in disarray trying desperately to get this collar off of himself. Although I thought he looked pretty dapper, he thought otherwise! Not wanting to watch him contort into oblivion, I removed him and gave him to an orphanage.

Our cat has come out of this collar twice. He's a pretty smart cat - maybe a less intelligent cat wouldn't have figured out how to turn him off. Otherwise I am satisfied with this collar. It's a cute bright red color and appears to be of good quality. Our cat has also learned to remove other breakaway collars, so I don't blame this collar.

So, the collar itself looked normal, everything is fine here, all this blindness. However, I noticed that my cat kept slipping out and touching his neck about two weeks after wearing it. It had totally irritated skin (I left a thumbs of slack underneath so it wasn't too tight). Like scabies and easy. upset. My cat is a nutcase, but he obviously doesn't wear this anymore.

Look for a cat harness instead. It's so jerky you can't keep it locked. My cat scratches lazily; the collar has been removed. Other attempts to collar a cat have failed with equal success. A good harness won't choke your cat if it snags on something and will give you a place to hang your cat's driver's license and name tag. In addition, it remains activated. I decided to buy some of these cat collars that were left near my property (which I tended). I didn't want people to think cats were strays, so I started putting collars on them. I chose a pink collar for everyone to see. The collar material is nice but they are VERY easy to remove. Two collars came off just as the cats were walking around the house. Also note: Collars rose from $6.07 to $12.05 in a very short period of time. Definitely not worth the price!

The only reason I gave it a four out of five is a mix up with Revain. I ordered three of these and indicated the colors but apparently they didn't get the message as I received all of them purple. Definitely not the end of the world and I had to send them back or something. I liked them so much that I didn't want to mess with them. I got this for one of those cat cam deals.
