Hamilton Choke Chain Collar 14 Inch Review

We ordered this for our dachshund puppy. All parts of the chain were smooth and the weight corresponded to the length of the chain. If there were any issues with the collar we would not use it.

I love that this is not a heavy chain for my little fella, it's just the right size and weight for him. Please note that I didn't realize the chain was 12" long and the two ends were 1" which was a perfect purchase for me.

This is a great product but twelve inches contain rings. Actual chain length is 10.25 inches. I ordered a 14 inch collar which fits my dog perfectly. My wife runs an animal shelter so I give them a smaller chain.

The chain is thick enough to suit the length and size of the dog it serves. my 17 lb mixed breed dog loves it as it's an alternative to nylon collars that are easy to wash and provide good correction when she tugs (she can't slip off either!). Very good purchase, I think it will last a long time.

The chain doesn't seem 'good' but it seems strong and very durable. Not the best choice for my 5 month old Maltipu. Also, it's not easy to solve. It stays tight around the dog's neck unless you wiggle it a few times. I hope my puppy grows up! I'm ready to try! Many Thanks.

great solution to our dog chewing problem! My Chihuahua chewed on her collar so much we gave her this and it saved my life. The only issue we had was that the measurements included two large loops. So if you use it as a collar it was smaller than expected. So if you measure ahead, please leave an extra 2 inches for the pooch to be practical :) I hope this helps

My crazy 10 lb Chiviny chewed about 3 or 4 collars a month. She MUST wear a collar to wear her ID tag. So I decided to try one of them. Instead of tying it to wear it worked like a slip collar, I attached her tag to both ends so it didn't look like a choker. It was the best option and the best idea! It works great, looks great and no more chewed collars!
