Hamilton Deluxe 1 Inch Halter Average Review

LOVE IT! Lots of colors and I love the snap on side option. The halter is easy to put on and take off as I pull it on and off for riding. I will probably always buy Hamilton halters for my horses from now on!

Not as strong as Hamiltons but I still buy them because I can't find anything better. Nylon is still strong and its quality is stable. I highly recommend them as there is no better alternative.

I love Hamilton halters and this one is no exception. Such excellent quality of materials, fittings and construction. Love the clasp that goes down yet still has a solid main ring. I think they're the easiest to put on and use - no fiddling with buckles behind your ears.

I wouldn't say I'm an expert in this field but this halter is perfect for our needs. We rent a horse and it's always difficult to find unused halters in the stable so we decided to buy it ourselves. It's easy for my 9 year old (and I) to get on and off the horse. Also, the color is great (which pretty much matches the color in the picture).

It's hard to find a solid ring halter. I usually use leather halters, but wanted something that was colorful and didn't require constant cleaning/conditioning. The color shown is exactly what I received, it is a beautiful light blue. I was concerned about the fit because my horse has a blocky head and wears a medium sized horse on some brands but needs an xlg horse on some. The usual size of the horse suited him perfectly.

It took a long time to find a halter with a fixed ring for the leash AND a clip on the cheek. It's well made, fits great and I'm thrilled that I no longer have to fiddle with the moving ring that the lead rope attaches to. In the past when my mare came down to graze, the movement of her old halter would cause the straps to slip up to her eye. I would highly recommend this halter and wish more were made this way!
