Yes, these bags are suitable for collecting dog waste. The price was right so I decided to go ahead and take a chance and I'm glad I did. They are actually stronger and slightly larger than the dog poop bags I've used. They don't have much flavor but they do the job well enough, I'll probably take them again if the price stays this good.

This product helps us to avoid the smell of dirty garbage completely. For a reason known only to the manufacturer, only the pink pouches have a pleasant, light baby powder scent. The gray and bronze sachets appear to have no deodorant scent. However, it doesn't matter. Once you scoop your cat's poop into a small bag, tie a knot and throw it in the bathroom bucket - no smell. I will remain a lifelong fan of this product (well unless they change it).
