Doesn't keep signal clear

This radio doesn't keep the signal for more than 15 minutes. Significant "signal drift". Lots of glitches, very annoying. Now I regret this purchase.

  • Good but not great

Never buy batteries again

The perfect radio for the apocalypse. But seriously, this is for a 9 year old who has a lot of toys with dead batteries. He's amazed you don't need internet to listen to music lol. I want one now, the hand crank.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Some troubles

Also great for the beach

Nice compact device, but poor selectivity on AM bothers me a bit.

Poor AM selectivity, no 50 kHz coverage for AM between 640 and 690 kHz. I understand the lowest common denominator, but basic AM selectivity with DSP should no longer be an issue as it has been 16 years since DSP was introduced and more than enough time to correct most if not all of the shortcomings in DSP tuning systems remedy. If it had better weak signal selectivity it would be a passable radio, although it does pick up in stations it's not particularly loud for the 500mAh internal battery…

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Long delivery time
