Great little tool - very accurate for the price

After receiving this item I was in doubt as to whether it was really accurate or not. I had some precision calipers laying around, so I decided to test how good this thing was at measuring distance. Turns out this thing is really accurate. As I moved the caliper up the slope, the tool stayed accurate to +/- 0.001 inches. Not bad! The only thing I would like to draw your attention to is the presence of small imperfections/defects in the metal on the edge of the tool. This isn't a huge problem…

GirlFriend Experience

Media failed to load. Use Nickel Anti-Seize and DiElectric Grease, not precision tools. But close enough. I have collected several spark plug tools during my time with the car. Increase the distance. close the gap Check distance. I know the game needs to be checked with more than one tool. Assuming that none of these are exact and accurate; I'm getting to the point where I think it's good enough. Measure twice, cut once. I measure 4 times and none of the instruments are accurate or precision…

mine is 0.1mm under

If my old car sat in wet weather for a long time, I might have had problems driving home from a quick errand. Wires, coils, distributor cap and spark plugs replaced. Apply electrical lubricant. However, there was a small problem. I set the gaps to 1.1mm because that's what they turn out to be if you buy them with a gap for this model. I decided to reset them to 1.0mm, the minimum specified. I found that the sensor I had was giving erroneous results. At first glance, the gap may seem too narrow.
