A Stunning Piece you will leave out on the countertop, each cutting board is hand shaped from 1 solid piece of acacia wood, not glued or laminated together from several pieces of wood; each piece is unique, collectible and is hand sanded to perfection. This cutting board is reversible, made of 3⁄4” thick high density acacia wood, dimensions 15” x 8”. CARE AND MAINTENANCE, hand-washing recommended. Do not place in the dishwasher or microwave; we recommend occasional oiling using a commercially available food grade cutting board oil. We do not sell laminated for wood cutting boards for aesthetic reasons, as well as possible de-lamination. That isn't to say that all laminated cutting boards are unattractive, we think most folks would prefer to see a solid wood cutting board vs. a laminated laminated board. It just says "handmade quality" a bit more.
