I've been looking at the full version for several months, even studying this company out of curiosity! It is superb quality and definitely outperforms all of the competitors in the line and I would definitely recommend it! I really wish there was a way to order their other instruments to try out! They even have storage/organization cabinets which I wish they had! Thank you very much, I hope to do much more business one day soon!

Heat gun works great but only has two settings but for the price it's pretty good. One of my issues, which I fear could become dangerous in the future, is that smoke comes out at the end after twenty minutes of use. It smells like burnt plastic, but I can't figure out if it's combustion residue or if it's a much more serious problem. I only use the heat gun until it starts smoking, then turn it off, unplug and watch until it cools.

2 CONS:1. I tested with a standard shrink wrap placed over a pocket tape measure. Even on the highest setting, it doesn't work as well (doesn't shrink as tight) as a regular hair dryer. It may be defective or simply not designed for standard shrink wrapping.2. AFTER I turned it off the nozzle started emitting smoke that wouldn't stop and that was enough to set off a LOUD and alarming first smoke detector on my ceiling!
